Stuart Le Noury was the fastest walker up the Val des Terres for the third consecutive year with a nineteen seconds improvement on his previous best time. Brother Jason in second place also broke five minutes for the first time. Walkers are set off at two minute intervals, so it is a time trail against the clock. The womens result was a close affair with the top 3 within four seconds of each other. Experienced walker Jayne Le Noury took the Ladies Shield by one second from Jane Rowlinson who was tackling the hill for the first time.
